Bachelor’s to Master’s

You can start a Master’s before you finish this degree.

TESU lets you take up to 4 of its own graduate courses while you are still finishing your bachelor’s. You pay the undergraduate price for them, and they count toward both degrees. The M.S. in Data Science and Analytics is one of the master’s degrees you can do this with.

These are 4 extra courses and you take them at TESU. They are not the courses in the table above. Whichever Electives you pick here, this works the same way.

4TESU graduate courses12credits toward both degrees

TESU decides who qualifies. You need 60 or more credits earned at TESU, a 3.0 GPA at TESU, and 3 years of work experience. Ask your TESU advisor — they check it and add it to your degree plan.

FAQ

Common questions

Does financial aid cover these courses?
No. These courses are billed separately and are not eligible for federal financial aid. Your TESU general education and electives are unaffected.
Will the credit transfer into my TESU degree?
Yes. These courses are evaluated and recommended for credit through ACE CREDIT®, and that recommendation is what your TESU degree audit reflects.
Do I have to take STA-2010 at TESU first?
For courses listing that prerequisite, yes. Register for STA-2010 through TESU before starting them here.
How do I get into my course once I’ve bought it?
You’ll receive access ahead of your chosen start date, once your purchase is complete.
Can I take Core and Elective courses across terms?
Yes. Buy the full bundle upfront, or purchase courses individually and space them across start dates.
How much time will a course take?
You get maximum flexibility, with an instructor and TA to support you throughout. Plan for regular weekly study within the term.
Can these courses also count toward a Master’s?
No — the courses above are undergraduate courses. But TESU has a separate program that lets you start a master’s early: you can take up to 4 TESU graduate courses (12 credits) while you finish your bachelor’s, pay the undergraduate price, and have them count toward both degrees. The M.S. in Data Science and Analytics is one of the options. See TESU’s page on the program, and ask your TESU advisor whether you qualify.
What if I pick the wrong elective?
Contact us before you purchase and we’ll check your choice against your degree audit. For questions on your overall degree plan, your TESU Academic Advisor is the right contact.
